Parker Meggitt, a global leader in aerospace components, identified a pressing need to reduce standing fatigue for workers at the Shepshed facility. Employees were experiencing discomfort during long periods of standing, particularly in high-traffic areas where durability was equally crucial. The company required anti-fatigue matting that offered both comfort and resilience to meet the demands of their industrial environment.
The challenge was to find a mat that could provide long-lasting comfort, reduce trip hazards, and withstand exposure to various industrial chemicals. The mat’s self-extinguishing top surface, tested to BS EN 13501-1, provides added protection against exposure to industrial chemicals, offering both safety and longevity. The bevelled edges further minimize trip hazards, ensuring a safer and more comfortable work environment.
