Where can polar PVC strip curtains be used?

Polar PVC strip curtain kits are designed to be used at entrances and exits of commercial walk-in freezers, refrigerated vehicles and are ideal as refrigerator curtains.

The installation of Polar PVC door strips reduces debris such as dust, insects and birds from entering and potentially contaminating controlled food storage areas.

How do pvc freezer curtains and refrigerator curtains work?

They are designed to be resilient in low temperature applications, while preventing loss of any cold air from the environment covered by the polar strip curtains. Typical applications include food storage and other cold storage areas, to act as a secondary defence.

These polar PVC curtains ensure that thermal energy loss is minimised, consequently reducing energy bills. The strip curtains can be used in temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius.

How can I install polar PVC curtains?

Our PVC strips arrive pre-fitted to hangers for ease of installation, and to reduce any potential damage during fitting. We’ve also made maintenance carefree, replacement polar PVC strip curtains can be ordered as required fitted with a hanger, to get you back to full operation fast!

Are freezer curtain strips available made to measure or by the metre?

Both. All of our PVC strip curtains can be cut to size, with or without hanging rails or supplied by the metre.
